April 10th - 16th
The Week of the Young Child™ is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) celebrating early learning, young children, their teachers and families.
Young children are the future of our communities, and there are many ways that we can come together for children. April 10th- 16th is "Week of the Young Child™," a time when we can reach out in our communities to help work toward the guarantee that all young children thrive and learn in a society dedicated to ensuring they reach their full potential. Take some time to support early literacy initiatives, thank teachers who work with our children, and work toward public policies that benefit all young children!
