Ms Tiffany's Class - Early Preschool 1
Happy 2018!!! Thanks to all of you who made our holiday a little more special! We are really blessed to be a part of your children’s lives.
Brrr! The weather’s getting cold, so bundle up . . . winter time is here! We have a lot of learning and activities planned for the new year ahead. In the month of January, we will be learning about Winter and Arctic Animals. Our little friends love singing our winter song where we are reminded that the weather’s getting cold so the bears sleep in the cave, ducks and geese fly to the south, and the people in the town wear hats and gloves. We will be talking about all the things in the winter wonderland, especially my two favorites - snow and penguins! During this learning theme, the children will explore the concepts of what snow is and how arctic and antarctic animals, like polar bears, walruses, and penguins, keep warm in their cold homes.
Time really flies when you are having fun! We can’t believe how much our little friends have grown in the past couple of months. We hear more conversations between each other, we hear amazing stories about their adventures over the weekend, and Circle Time has become more interesting for them – now we can name a topic and their comments about it are fabulous!
