Ms Angela & Ms Iris' Class - Infants
Hello from the Bright Beginnings infant room!
Our school family has been so busy this past month. The children have been exploring and reading new stories, they have learned and talked with their teachers about reds and pinks, they have said “bye-bye” to some brand new big kids, and they have invited new friends to join our little family. With winter coming to a close very soon, we have also been singing songs about spring and talking about the new birds we have seen on a playground porch.
However, keep in mind that winter is still blowing icy winds and cold rain on us. When we do have a mild day, we will try to have the children outside to enjoy some fresh air. Please remember to dress the children in warm clothes. Shoes, hats, and gloves will be necessary when going outside.
Also, a reminder about center volunteer activities. If you would like to take part in these activities, please speak with Ms Dominique, Ms Angela, Ms Iris, or Ms Ashley. The children love to see familiar faces coming to visit, and we would love to have you join in the fun with our sweet babies.
Next month is all things Irish and green. We will be exploring and creating with the color green, singing songs about green, and reading stories about green. We will also add little tidbits about family pets, St. Patrick’s Day, and bugs & butterflies toward the end of the month. In addition, we will be talking about Dr. Suess as well. Instilling a love of reading in the hearts and minds of children was a goal that he and I share. There will be some wonderful new stories by this amazing author that will be featured in our class. So……,
Don’t be surprised when you come for a visit, that you’ll hear little rhymes among all the tidbits.
Join us as we continue our journey to incredible new heights in the infant room!
