November Fun!

Our class loved the month of November! We had so many activities that involved talking about turkeys and spending time without loved ones! We read Thank You, Thanksgiving by David Milgrim and This Is the Turkey by Abby Levine. These books help the children understand that holidays are a fun time to spend with family and eat lots of food! We also loved the song “Five Fat Turkeys Are We!”, and anytime we sang this song, our class gobbled like a rafter of turkeys! They thought it was so funny.

We also discussed the weather getting colder, and we sing a weather song every day at circle time to talk about what the weather is like. We also painted with clothespins and cotton balls to help with our fine motor skills.
