Ms Michelle's Class - Infants
Hello families!
Wow, did this year fly right on by or was it just us that felt that way? With the weather being so cold, we have bundled up and enjoyed the fall crisp air. When it snowed, Ms Hayden brought snow into the classroom. We talked about why it was so cold, and then we watched it fall from the sky through the windows.
Our Thanksgiving meal with families was a hit! As always, thank you to each and every parent for participating.
In December we will be focusing on and adding to our lesson plans the colors that winter brings. The children tore up wrapping paper (practicing for Christmas!) and placed it on sticky paper. Be on the lookout for their creation to be displayed in the classroom! Speaking of lesson plans, have you taken a look at what we have planned each week? Each day we have an array of engaging, growth oriented, and purposeful activities planned. If you have any ideas that you would like to share or if your child likes doing a specific activity at home, please feel free to let me know, and we’ll see how we can incorporate it in to our lesson plans.
A few reminders:
Santa will be coming to visit on December 21st at 3:00 pm. If you would like your infant to visit Santa, please let me know in advance.
Our Christmas program is December 13th at 6:00pm. Our 1year-olds will be participating and have been practicing all the month of November! We will see you there!!
