Ms KK’s Class—Early Preschool
Hello from EPS!
We hope you have enjoyed your holidays as much as we have. We are now ready to move forward in 2019! There have been so many incredible things happening in our room; we are excited to share them with you!
Of course, with the first mention of Snow in the forecast, we begin to brainstorm on what fun activities we can endure during our time outside while the ground is being covered in a winter wonderland. While Mother Nature tends to trick us, we are anxiously waiting for our first Snow Day at school. In the meantime, we simply use Ice to make different shapes, sizes, and art pieces. We also like to discuss what happens when ice melts. So, no matter what comes our way, we make the best of it!
We have also been involved in Yoga time with Ms. Jennifer. This is such a fun and relaxing time to reflect on emotions and how to release stress while using our gross and fine motor skills! The children look forward to her visits and we appreciate the time Ms. Jennifer spends with us!
We are preparing to celebrate Chinese New Year on February 5th! We have a special guest coming to visit our classroom and share some things with us. We will learn about traditional ways and experience the clothing that is worn for this holiday. We will hear stories and hopefully learn some new words to add to our vocabulary! We can’t wait!
On Thursday, February 14th at 2:45, we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day! We will be enjoying our annual Valentine exchange and would like you to join us! We will be enjoying yummy snacks and are looking forward to reading the special cards that are chosen just for us. It will be a fun time you won’t want to miss! Be on the lookout for more details!
As always, please feel free to stop by and say “Hello” or wave to us from the window. We love visitors, and you are always welcome!
Thank you!
