Ms Ada's Class - Preschool

As the end of summer break comes upon us, our theme this month is “Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come”! Some of the stories we will be reading are: Welcome to Kindergarten by Anne Rockwell, The Night Before Kindergarten by Natasha Wings, Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come by Nancy Carlson, and Off to Kindergarten by Tony Johnston.

We will be working on some basic rules: 1) We use kind words, 2) Our hands stay on our own body, and 3) Our feet walk inside and run outside.

Some of the activities that we will be doing are chalk and water art, painting, counting, sorting, and the game “Whose Shoes”.

The Pre K class will also be welcoming Ms. Teresa who will lead the classroom during the next phase of preschool. Mrs. Ada will continue to support the preschool classes during this transition for continuity of care.
