Ms Amanda's Class—Toddler 1
Happy Holidays from T1!
November was filled with exciting activities in our class. We loved to dance and sing to the “Pumpkin Man” song, paint with fall colors, and play in our Fall sensory table. We also have been reading lots of Thanksgiving books, and all the children say that they want pumpkin pie!
Another activity our children have loved is playing with and exploring leaves that have fallen off the trees. It is great sensory play because some of the leaves are still soft and some are crunchy. Using different textures in play opens up new learning opportunities for our children.
Our focus in December is going to be Winter and Christmas. I have several activities planned that should be very exciting for our class, such as a Winter sensory table, painting with Christmas Tinsel, Colored Shaving Cream activities, and a few special projects.
We want to wish all of our families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
See you all next year!
