Ms Amanda's Class - Toddler 2
Toddler 2 Parents,
I want to start by letting you all know that even though we all miss Ms. Jessica very much, all of the little ones have adjusted very nicely to her moving on to another classroom. We make sure we wave at her or hug her every chance we get. We are thankful for the time she spent as the Master Teacher of our classroom and are happy she has taken the opportunity to follow her dreams of being a Master Teacher of a Preschool classroom. We wish her the best!
December was a busy month for us. We experimented with peppermint scented water, had a blast practicing our fine motor skills while we ripped wrapping paper, learned new to us songs with our favorite being "Jingle Bells," painted with red and green paint, and colored with red, green, and yellow crayons and colored pencils. We even had a fun Christmas Party and got to meet Santa! We were so happy to share those experiences with all of the parents that were able to come. Thank you all for sharing those moments with us!
The month of January is sure to be just as busy. We will be learning about Winter and all that brings. We will talk about the weather changing, how the leaves that changed color in the fall have mostly fallen, leaving the trees bare, and how cold it is. And I would be lying if I said I wasn't hoping for a snowy experience for the little ones to experience and enjoy.
Speaking of the colder weather, we want to remind you to make sure your little one has a warm coat, hat, and gloves for those cold days because we will be going outside as often as possible. This is also a good time to check your little one’s cubby to make sure he or she has weather appropriate clothing that fits.
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
Ms. Amanda Tackett
