Happy New Year!

Last month we enjoyed learning all about our new friends and what makes them different!

In the month of January, we will start using our senses (taste, touch, smell, and sound) and figure out how we can instill them in our day-to-day life with our new friends. The first sense we will be learning about is touch. Did you know that children use touch as a form of trust? Trust is very important to teach children. We will also start a “show and tell” where your child can bring a “lovey” or toy from home, and we can learn about how that certain toy makes them feel safe and secure in this world. Also, we encourage you all to come visit our child care home so that our children can learn who to trust in the world.

Please don’t be a stranger; we look forward to seeing you! As always, we appreciate you letting us help your child learn and grow, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!

As we enter into the new year, Ms Gabi will be transitioning to the Owasso/Sperry Center to work with the infants. We have enjoyed Gabi staying with us for training and development. We wish her the best of luck in her new classroom.
