Ms Anita's Class - Toddler 1

In the month of April, our focus will be health and safety. We will be learning about health and safety by teaching the children proper hand washing procedures and how to cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze. In addition to this, we also use redirection when a child puts something in their mouth. We do this by providing them with a safe alternative instead.

They will begin to learn about spacial-awareness. The child will do this by staying out of their friends space; keeping the room, themselves, and their friends safe. They will demonstrate this by following the rules their teacher encourages the children to use in the classroom. We encourage you, as guardians and parents, to keep using proper hand washing procedures with your children at home to keep you and your family members safe.
