Ms Nikki's Class - Early Preschool

Sincerely, Hello from EPS!

I want to start by saying I really miss all of you so much and can’t wait to have all of us back in class together! As you know, we have been studying insects for the past two months, and we have learned a lot about where they live and how they live, and which ones are safe and which ones are not.

We will keep doing the study of insects through August. The next focus for our study of insects will cover which insects are in our community. We will be asking questions like, “Where should we look for insects?” “What kind of insects do we have in the winter and summer?” We will also be learning the following insect vocabulary words this month:

Larva

Termite

Pest

To the kids that are still at home, I would like for you and your family to play a game of “Insect I Spy” and would love for you all to send me a picture of it and tell me what insects you’ve found! Send your pictures to lkaufmann@delawarechild.org.
