Happy New Year! We made it to 2021!

Our newsletter theme is Winter Play and Winter Weather. The Early Childhood Learning and Knowledge Center (ECLKC) has written an article on Cold Weather Safety. In the article, they touch on safe sleep, bundling up, car safety, and infectious disease control. Click the link to read more about the colder weather.

With COVID-19 numbers rising and holidays behind us, Delaware Child Development has stopped all in person training. The safety of our providers and their families are a high priority of ours. Training is still available through CECPD, with two options to choose training. The first option is to look on the Statewide Training Calendar - this calendar has all training in the state of Oklahoma. Providers can also register for training and see their training profiles from the same website. The next option is CECPD Online Training - this option allows you to do self-paced classes through CECPD. We are hoping to open back up for training in the middle of January. We will keep all providers posted on the exact date.

Resource & Referral still has cleaners and PPE available to providers. Below is a list of available materials we have. Please contact your R&R Specialist if you need supplies. We will make arrangements with you to drop them off contact free.

Our resource kits are still available for check out. If you are interested in borrowing a kit, please contact your R&R Specialist. Resource kits are cleaned and sanitized when they come back to us from other providers. We want to ensure that our providers and children are protected against viruses and germs.
