Letter from the Director!

I have some exciting news to share this month! Two new teachers have joined our team of professionals. Leah Ivie is excited to start her new career journey. She lives here in Bartlesville, and she was raised here as well. She is so excited to be working with your children and this organization. She is new to the field of early childhood development but is eager to learn and grow with us! One thing she would like you all to know about her is that she has three siblings - two younger sisters and an older brother, whom she is extremely thankful for; they have helped her become the person she is today. Leah also has a beautiful dog Hurley who is her best friend. Her future plans after high school are to go to college and become a teacher. This job is helping her reach her goal and gain experience in the field of educating our young children. She is happy to be here caring for your children and getting to know them.

I’d like to introduce the other newest member of our team! Assistant Teacher in T1 is Gabby Catron. She, too, is excited to be part of the DCDC Bartlesville team. She has worked in childcare for 6 years and counting. She loves early childhood education. She believes it is a vital part of the child’s life. She has obtained a CDA and plans to use it to guide me as she guides your children. She feels blessed to be in this with all of you. She is not native to the Bartlesville area, but I’m proud she calls this community home as well as this center.
