Hello, Parents!

August marks the beginning of a new school year, and Pre-K will be hard at work. This month we will be working on name recognition, spelling, and writing our names as well as learning new classroom rules. We will be talking about our feelings and emotions and learning more about ourselves and our friends.

Some books we will be reading this month are I Like Me, What I Like About Me, It Is Okay to Be Different, and The Way I Feel.

Some songs that we will be singing are “Sometimes I Feel Happy”, “Cry, Cry When You’re Sad”, “Special Me”, and “Head Shoulders Knees and Toes”.
