Ms Amanda & Ms Riley's Class - Toddler 2

Whew!

Time sure does fly when you are having fun! We can’t believe it is already October! Last month our focus was learning about ourselves, and we had so much fun with the new books and activities we did. I think our favorite book was by Sesame Street called “We’re Different, We’re the same, and We're All Wonderful!” This book teaches us that everyone has different eyes, noses, mouths, bodies, and feelings, but they all work the same way as everyone else’s. It’s a fantastic book to learn about inclusivity and diversity. Our class loved to talk about eye color and how everyone has different colored eyes, which would be a fun discussion to have in your family conversations, too!

October’s focus is Halloween! We are so excited for the spookiest month of the year! We have lots of fun activities planned like pumpkin painting and exploring, painting with fun utensils, and making spooky pictures! We have several Halloween books that the children are going to love like our Pop-Up Halloween book which allows them to engage with our reading time more. We hope everyone has the best Halloween yet, and that everyone stays safe!

See you next month!

Ms. Amanda, Ms. Riley, and Ms. Nena
