Ms Anita's Class - Toddler 1

Last month in T1 we focused on self-awareness. The children enjoyed all the new songs and activities we learned in the classroom. One of their favorite songs was “If You’re Happy and You Know It.” They enjoyed getting to act out the motions to the song.

This month we will be focusing on science by questioning, exploring, and problem solving. Some of the topics we will be exploring will be about nutrition. We will do this by giving the child opportunities to explore hands on all the different vegetables in the classroom. The child will also be looking at and talking about all the different stages of vegetable growth through realistic pictures during a small group activity. They will continue to use their senses to discover new smells and taste. I will be sending home an activity for you to explore a sweet potato and to make sweet potatoes with your little one.
