Ms Becky's Class - Toddler 3

We had a “Magnificent March" in Toddler 3! We started off the month by celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday. We read the classics all week, including The Cat In the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, Hop On Pop, and more. We also had special days all week. Crazy Hair Day and Tye- Dye Day were among our favorites.

Next, we studied Bugs. We read lots of books about bugs. Our Sensory table was filled with shredded green paper (grass) and all sizes, shapes, and types of plastic bugs. The children really enjoyed using magnifying glasses and exploring all the different bugs.

Our next theme was "Play Ball!" We filled our sensory table with small footballs, baseballs, soccer balls, basketballs, light-up balls, and bouncy balls. We sang "The Sports Ball Song" and enjoyed tossing a beach ball around our room.

We welcomed in Spring with our study of flowers. Each child got to plant flower seeds in his/ her own pot. We will be teaching the children to take care of their plants, and we will be watching to see if they sprout and grow.
