Ms Erin & Ms Sarah's Class - Early Preschool

Hello, EPS family and friends!

We have had a fun time this month revisiting shapes and numbers with activities such as lacing shapes to enhance our fine motor skills and games where we would count the number of shapes in our classroom and on the playground. We also did plenty of song and dance to teach location words, such as “The Bear Went Over the Mountain” and “Going on a Bear Hunt”.

As we move into December, we will switch tunes and focus on our Literacy Skills, specifically Standard 3 - Print Awareness and Standard 6 - Letter Knowledge and Early Word Recognition (phonics). Activities such as shared writing, letter and name recognition, and of course, many books to read daily will be offered. We look forward to a great month of language and communication skills!
