Ms KK's Class - Early Preschool 1

Hello, everyone!

Thanks for taking the time to read our blog and find out what we are up to! Of course, we have been in the water daily, which is a super fun way to enjoy time with friends and keep cool! We certainly had fun getting ready for the Fourth of July holiday, and I do believe Watermelon came up as the favorite dessert for the Red, White, and Blue festival with family!

Inside the classroom, the children are still practicing with scissors daily because well, let’s face it, you can cut a lot of things, and the kiddos do not realize they are using a skill that will help them learn control of a lot of things - Paper, Playdoh, Magazines, etc. Hand them a glue stick, and you have created another skill - Collage, Matching, and Colors. The possibilities are endless.

We have recently worked with shapes, and the look on the faces of the group when they were identifying the different ones as well as counting the sides was amazing! These children are smart! Next, we are working on identifying vegetables and fruits. We cannot wait!
