Ms Nikki's Class - Early Preschool

Dear Parents,

I am so excited about our new friends in our classroom! We are even more excited about all the new friends that we will be getting in the next one to two weeks. So, in saying that, we will be learning about social and personal skills. Some ways we are working on these skills is by making sure that we greet each child that comes into the classroom, provide children with opportunities to engage in activities together, encourage children to play and work together, and model proper behaviors when interacting with children and other adults.

Also, a good skill to work on at home is to invite the child to be a leader in activities and the family participate. This can be done by playing a simple game of “Follow the Leader” or “Simon Says”.
