Ms Pam's Class - Preschool 1
February was quite a month with the winter weather! Even though we stayed inside more than usual, we had lots of fun! The children built forts with sheets, blankets, and pillows. We played fun games that helped us learn patience, taking turns, and problem solving, etc. Our class enjoyed our Valentine’s Day party with plenty of exchanges and goodies to promote friendship. We were even able to make a little snow art on one of the warmer days with a squirt bottle filled with different food colors.
As we look forward to March and better weather, we will be learning about plants and how they grow. The children will have lots of hands-on activities with this as they will get to plant their own flowers and watch them develop. We are also paying close attention to the trees, watching for the first buds of new leaves. As you and your children take walks and drives, you can point out new blooms, first grasses, and dandelions beginning to emerge.
We welcome March roaring in!
Mrs. Pam
